look alikes

So ever since baby S arrived, we've compared him to our baby J who arrived in August 2008. At first I thought it was just the clothes or because we haven't had another baby boy preemie since then, but the day that even I called baby S by the wrong name, I decided to check out the picture proof.

See what YOU think!

Baby J

Baby S (same preemie outfit, just a bit more faded!)

What do you think??

Baby J

Baby S

Then I realized something else....

Baby J came, then two newborn girls (September 2008)

Baby S came, then two newborn girls! (September 2010)

Sleeping Beauty

Our Baby N at 2 (or 3?) weeks...

These remind me of pictures I took of baby F when she was one week and two weeks old, one year ago this month.

got milk?

This little fellow is really getting into the eating business.

When he's hungry...or thinks he's hungry (basically anytime he's actually awake)...

he sucks anything within reach...

...even if it's "sister" N!

Not that tasty!

Sweetness!

Can't believe they are "ours"!!!

tiny

A little perspective on the tininess of our newest...

Two to a crib! Not like they care :)

And these are tiny cribs...

With my hand(s) in the picture:

Preciousness!

They are already growing fast - up at least half a kilo (that's a pound) since arrival!!

A Doubly Happy Birthday

This little jewel is now ONE! (Click here to see the first post after her arrival to Casa de Amor.)

{I totally swiped this pic from volunteer Savannah's blog!}

And this dapper little boy is now TWO! (Read about G & G's arrival here.)

The tias and Savannah created a beautiful party for the two:

Babies, babies, everywhere! (There's one in the swing too)

Getting the birthday kids ready

Jen with F (& baby S)

The party scene!!! Four Hospitals of Hope volunteers were also with us this afternoon

It's just not a birthday in Bolivia without jello.

Our new one year old! (Actually, our only one year old)

Even the trips dressed up for the occasion

(Alison's lazy eye treatment is going well!)

Gabriel with his soon-to-be mother!

F wanted to grab her candle rather than blow it out

Enjoying her cake!

New little girl J also enjoyed the cake - a pleasant surprise since she normally only receives milk

Heading outside to play with balloons!

New Baby Girl F

If you want to see good pictures of the newest baby

...you know, versus the other new baby or the OTHER new baby :) ...

I would suggest you not wait on me and that you go directly to volunteer Savannah's post Really.!
